The University of the Philippines Center for Women’s Studies Foundation, Inc. (UPCWSFI) supports transformative programs that empower women, amplify gender-responsive knowledge, and promote equity across communities, campuses, and governance spaces.

The University of the Philippines Center for Women’s Studies Foundation, Inc. (UPCWSFI) is a non-stock, non-profit organization committed to advancing gender equality and feminist advocacy. Since 1992, we have worked closely with the UP Center for Women’s and Gender Studies (UPCWGS) to support research, training, and outreach programs rooted in feminist values and participatory approaches.
Through partnerships with various national and international organizations, UPCWSFI has led pioneering initiatives on women’s health, disability, gender-based violence, and reproductive rights. Together with our partners and communities, we continue to champion inclusive, grounded, and transformative work for gender justice in the Philippines.
The SHE Research Project is a transformative initiative led by the UPCWGS and the UPCWSFI, in partnership with Oxfam Pilipinas.
The Bayi Care Program seeks to address the gaps and challenges through an inclusive, gender-transformative municipal-based program.
